Soror Spotlight:
Soror Aaliyah Isrel, a distinguished member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., joined the organization in the Spring of 2022. As the "Tre" of her class, she proudly carries the line name "Rhoyally Adventurous." Aaliyah's passion for education and community support is deeply reflected in her favorite Sigma program, Operation Big Book Bag (OBBB). This program resonates with her lifelong commitment to helping educationally underserved communities.
Aaliyah holds a BA in Communications from Virginia State University and an MBA in Business Administration with a minor in Global Business from Westcliff University. Her dedication to service extends beyond borders, as she has voluntarily taught abroad in China and Poland, gaining invaluable experience while making a global impact.
In addition to her professional and volunteer work, Aaliyah loves to travel and enjoys music therapy, finding peace and creativity in these hobbies. Her adventurous spirit is often shared with her two beloved dogs, Obi and Bella Boo. Aaliyah's journey with Sigma Gamma Rho reached new heights when she traveled to Ghana to celebrate the sorority's charter in the country, further cementing her commitment to global sisterhood and service. Aaliyah continues to inspire those around her with her joyful personality, dedication, and passion.
